Investing in the Future of Florida's Green Industry

The Florida Nursery, Growers & Landscape Association (FNGLA) has long been the champion of Florida's nursery and landscape industry — protecting its interests, advancing its professionals, and nurturing its growth. As Florida's oldest and largest association serving the environmental horticulture industry, FNGLA supports a sector that generates an estimated $15.2 billion in annual sales statewide.

About the NEFNGLA Scholarship Fund

The FNGLA Northeast Chapter Scholarship Fund was created with one simple belief — the future of our industry begins with education. Our scholarship program is dedicated to supporting graduating high school seniors who are pursuing a college degree in:

  • Horticulture
  • Agricultural Education
  • Horticultural Sciences
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Or a related agricultural field

If you have a passion for growing things and a desire to build a career in this incredible industry, we want to help make that dream possible.

Scholarship Spotlight

Big congratulations go out to Kayla, a University of Florida student, Agricultural Education major, and two-time NEFNGLA scholarship recipient!

Kayla has been awarded the January 2026 NEFNGLA $1,500 Scholarship. This is the second time she has earned this honor, bringing her total to an incredible $3,000 in scholarship support from our chapter.

Kayla also proved she's a force to be reckoned with at our 2026 Annual Chili Cookoff, where her chili was one of the winners.
